Location: New York

The Warehouse Logistics Manager oversees end‑to‑end logistics operations, ensuring efficient transportation, warehousing, distribution, and vendor performance across the supply chain. This role drives cost savings, operational accuracy, and continuous improvement while leading teams and supporting network growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage transportation, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL partners to ensure timely, accurate movement of goods.
  • Track KPIs such as delivery accuracy, inventory levels, freight spend, and vendor performance.
  • Negotiate carrier rates, optimize routing, and reduce freight costs while improving service levels.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews, enforce SLAs, and maintain strong relationships with carriers and 3PLs.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement Lean/CI initiatives to improve throughput and reduce waste.
  • Assist with distribution center growth, inventory planning, and fulfillment optimization.
  • Manage annual budgets, capital planning, and freight‑related financial performance.
  • Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Lead warehouse, distribution, and transportation staff, including oversight of third‑party providers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related operations.
  • Familiarity with WMS, TMS, ERP systems, and KPI reporting tools.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Experience negotiating rates and managing 3PL relationships.
  • Skilled in freight budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Strong ability to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
