Field Data Collection Project

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count elements, take photographs, record videos, capture voice, and scan areas to capture every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are distributed across Europe and North America and are ready to take on new challenges.

This project aims to collect high-quality visual material of streets, key points of interest, and public spaces in EU countries. Using vehicles equipped with detachable 360° cameras and LiDAR sensors, drivers will capture complete images of the environment. The collected data will be stored in onboard computers (SSD units) and later used to improve one of the world's leading online mapping platforms.

Data collectors will follow pre-assigned routes, focusing on public streets, commercial areas, and points of interest. To ensure the highest image quality, some areas may require additional visits during favorable weather conditions. The duration of the project varies depending on the scope of work required in each data collection area. On average, assignments involve between 3 and 6 months of active work.

Work schedule:

full-time dedication within the standard working hours (from 8:00 to 19:00).

Selection process for the driver position includes the following stages: safe driving test, interview with the recruiter, and onboarding process.

• Possesses a valid driving license issued in the EU.
• Has clean records (both criminal and driving).
• Has at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Has professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics).
• Is fluent in English and the local language.
• Has affinity for technology and experience using GSuite tools (Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, Google Forms).
• Has basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Demonstrates responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
