Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional delivery Truck Driver to join our team. In this management position you will be trained in a management role. Having Fed Ex, UPS or Amazon experience would be extremely helpful.
Responsibilities- Start time is 7:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM each day.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of trucks.
- Drive a truck and deliver packages to cover employee vacations and sick days.
- Support a flexible work schedule from Monday through Sunday.
- Do office work (such as MMRs, DRO, checking timecards, etc.). Training is provided by the company manager and owner.
- Preferably reside within a 15-mile radius of the terminal.
- Hold morning safety meetings with drivers and discuss any topics relevant for the day.
- Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license (NO CDL is required).
- Familiarity with GPS systems.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Preferably reside within a 15-mile radius of the terminal.
