Class B CDL Delivery Truck Driver

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely
• Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with a camera phone system
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured and truck components comply with all regulations
• Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork promptly
• Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading materials to or from trucks or into the warehouse as assigned
• This position does not require over-the-road travel

• Valid CDL – Class B
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly (most common cargo is 70‑pound bundles of shingles)
• Pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screen required
• Experience driving a manual transmission is a plus
• Crane certification preferred
• Flatbed, knuckle boom, and/or straight truck experience preferred
