This is a yard switching position moving 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks throughout the yard and to docks using a yard horse. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various start times are required in order to successfully meet the business needs.

CDL CLASS A REQUIRED

• CDL A: $31.50/hr. (1 year experience as a yard jockey required)
• Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance
• Time off Package which includes Vacation, Sick and Holidays
• No touch freight or heavy lifting

  Rotating schedule, start times: 10am, 3pm, 6pm (all are required)
• One weekend day required (must be willing to work a Saturday or Sunday)
• Days off:
  Saturday OR Sunday and one day in the middle of the week

Position:

• 21+ years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean MVR
• Possess and be able to present a valid non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
• Able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification)
• Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Experience using a yard horse preferred but not required
• Must have the availability to work overtime hours and holidays

Pay Rate $31.50 per hour
