Dispatcher - VGM Gov Biz

For the past five years we have been one of the NYC MTA leading transportation suppliers under the Access-a-Ride Program. Our fleet of vehicles is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and safety features to ensure a comfortable and secure ride for our driver and passengers. Based on growth we are seeking an addition dispatcher to support operations.

The Dispatcher will be responsible for ensuring efficient and timely coordination of drivers, vehicles, and customers using our customer software integrated with the MTA.

• Monitor trips during shift to and optimize routes to make sure drivers arrive on time
• Receive manifests on and daily basis
• Work closely with MTA "Command Center" at ensure close coordination of supply and demand
• Maintain daily note on driver behavior, accident, used for performance improvement
• Speak with supervisors and customers to resolve problems
• Ensure all records are up to date
• Manage to target on-time-performance
• Must be able to work onsite, this is not a remote role and must be able to communicate clearly to drivers and passengers
• Must be able to work with or without reasonable accommodations
• Other duties are assigned at any given time

• Basic computer skills are a must
• Ability to work in fast-moving environments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitasking skills
• 2 years of Experience in transportation or logistics companies
• Basic Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) or Excel
