Role Overview

Seeking a Class A City Driver responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to pick up and deliver freight, load and unload trailers, and perform vehicle inspections. The driver must secure freight, comply with federal regulations including Hazardous Materials handling, maintain records such as logs, and adhere to safety policies.

Require at least two years of verifiable interstate driving experience or one year plus approved training, a valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days. Candidates must pass a driving test, DOT physical, and pre-employment drug screen, with no recent license suspensions or serious violations. Good reading, writing, and math skills are essential, along with consent to use driver-facing cameras and background checks.

Safe vehicle operation, freight handling, securing cargo, vehicle inspections, compliance with transportation laws, and record-keeping. Overtime is available after 40 hours, with pay starting at $33.32/hour. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
