Transit Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Transit Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for transporting passengers along assigned routes while ensuring a high standard of customer service and adherence to all safety regulations. This is a full‑time, year‑round position with a consistent weekday schedule. Monday – Friday schedule.

• Safely operate a transit vehicle along assigned routes and schedules
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of all passengers during transport
• Maintain accurate records, including logs and incident reports
• Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
• Provide courteous and professional customer service
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management as needed

• Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Previous commercial driving or transit experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and punctuality
• Required endorsements:
  Passenger, School bus, general knowledge, airbrakes

Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour
