Truck Driver Mover

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, receiving, and transporting furniture, artwork, and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations, airports, seaports, or rail ports. You will act as the face of the company, maintaining a strong focus on customer service. Strong commitment to the company's philosophy and goals is essential. The position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

• Drive a truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport and deliver cargo, materials, furniture or art.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with base supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to a new location.
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Obey all traffic regulations from City, State, and Federal laws.
• Keep record of materials and products transported.
• Position blocks and tie rope around items to secure cargo for transport.
• Clean, inspect, and service vehicle.
• Operate equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Obtain customer signature or collect payment for goods delivered, if necessary.
• Assist in loading and unloading truck manually.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• Experience moving furniture, fine art, and antique products is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Experience working in a similar industry is a plus.
• Understand how to properly load and unload merchandise from trucks.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organization skills.
• Extreme attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, climb, and pull.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor on a regular basis.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain calm composure.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
