Transportation We have an immediate opportunity for a Full-time Delivery Driver Position in our Germantown, NY Hub!
Bio Trans LLCis a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.
Delivery DriverShift:
Monday
-Thursday, variable start times approximately 10:00 am. Friday Start Time approximately 12:00 pm in state and out of state travel.
Passport Preferred or Willing to Obtain to cover additional route coverage. Possible overnight stays in hotel paid by company.
- Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
- Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
- Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting.
- Extended periods of sitting.
- Must be 21+ years of Age
- Valid driver's license/Real
- US Passport Preferred
- Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
- Background check required.
- Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications
- Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
