Job Description

Driver CDL/Warehouse Associate in Montgomery, NY. The role combines driving and warehouse tasks to support on-time, safe deliveries of Mondelez products (Oreo, Ritz, Triscuit, Sour Patch, Swedish Fish, and more).

Position represented by a labor union. Schedule is 4 days, 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu or Tue-Sat), start times vary from 1:30am to 6:00am. Primary location:
Branch - 40 Leonard's Drive, Montgomery, NY 12549. Interstate work involved.

Hourly pay: $30.05 per hour (driving) and $29.50 per hour (warehouse).

As a Driver, you will deliver products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses, with safety and timeliness as priorities. As a Warehouse Associate, you will stock trucks and prepare products for drivers. This combo role provides time on the road and in the warehouse and may vary throughout the year based on needs.

• Ensure compliance with procedures and conduct regular safety checks on warehouse equipment to prioritize safety.
• Completes daily field service activities, including preparing customer invoices, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform duties as scheduled by Foreman and Supervisor.
• Coordinate with retail customers and receiving personnel in delivery areas; communicate customer needs to the customer service team.
• Participate in warehouse activities, including truck unloading, stock counting, order processing, and maintaining warehouse organization.
• Stock, palletize, and load/unload delivery trucks; assist with order picking as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
• Assemble and load products on delivery trucks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate running inventory.
• Adhere to safety and quality checks to protect staff and products.

• CDL-Class A license with at least one year of proven safe driving experience.
• Valid REAL r's license, U.S. passport, or federal  role may service a military base facility requiring valid credentials to access.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment and handle physical activity (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling).
• Ability to pass requirements for relevant licenses to operate equipment.
• Strong adaptability to take on diverse responsibilities and perform other duties as assigned.
• Preferred direct store delivery (DSD) experience.
• Experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Must pass drug test, MVR, and background check.

• Follow schedules and instructions from Route Manager or Dispatch for efficient operations.
• Record, report, and return defective items per policy.
• Accept, verify, inspect, and record all deliveries and shipments.
• Adhere to safety and quality checks to protect coworkers, staff, communities, and products.
• Assemble and load products on delivery trucks following standard procedures.
• Use a smartphone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging driving times and a scanner for deliveries.
• Be flexible with daily changing routes and working times.
