Route Driver- Part time

Looking for some extra money and like driving. We might have the part time for you scheduled at 12-15 hours a week.

This position is responsible for the pickup of feed and forage samples from designated drop boxes in the area and delivering to Dairyland Laboratories, Inc. in Warners, NY.

• Pickup and delivery of feed and forage samples from designated drop boxes on a route schedule to be delivered to Dairyland Labs in Warners, NY, in a timely manner. Samples must be at the lab between 8:00-8:30, Tuesday through Friday.
• Does initial check of all samples making sure that account numbers and names are on boxes and information sheets are filled out and with sample
• Keep mailers and supplies stocked at all box locations
• Visually inspect drop boxes on a daily basis, ensure they are clean and well maintained
• Maintain records of samples picked up and delivered each day
• Maintain communications with all customers on the route schedule
• Communicate with supervisor on any issues or comments
• Be flexible to adjust route schedule to meet customer’s needs
• Continue to look for other opportunities to gain new business
• Responsible for personal safety and safe driving practices
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Make additional route stops if needed
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record that meets our insurance company requirements
• Must provide proof of adequate vehicle insurance on personal vehicle
