Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of a versatile fleet dedicated to delivering essential freight across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. As a CDL A driver, you will be the vital link ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with safety standards.

Your expertise in manual transmission driving, load & unload procedures, and route driving will keep operations moving smoothly and efficiently.

• Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
• Deliver freight accurately and on schedule to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery deadlines and minimize fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during transit.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance reports, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmission.
• Familiarity with various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Experience in freight load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual handling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo securement.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Excellent route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and punctuality.
