Job Description
A busy mason/building supply company with 3 locations on Long Island is looking for the right CDL Driver candidate to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work hard and join a growing company. The ideal candidate will have a Class A or B CDL Drivers License as well as some knowledge of the building materials/mason supply industry.
We are willing to train if you have a great attitude and willingness to learn. We offer competitive pay with great benefits such as vacation time, health insurance, dental insurance and 401k opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial driver's license
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
