The Opportunity The Driver is responsible for completing daily delivery routes for Bright Eyed, ensuring products get where they need to go safely, accurately, and on time. This role handles the full delivery process—from loading and unloading to verifying orders and completing required documentation.

As a key representative of Bright Eyed on the road, the Driver is expected to be reliable, organized,and professional while following all company delivery procedures, traffic laws, and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Delivery & Route Operations
• Complete assigned delivery routes safely, accurately, and on time.
• Load and unload products carefully, verifying orders and preventing damage.
• Follow route and delivery instructions, including updates from the Director of Operations or designated lead.
• Maintain a professional and service-focused presence at all delivery locations.

Communication & Documentation
• Remain active on the dispatch channel throughout each shift.
• Immediately communicate delays, route changes, shortages, damaged goods, accidents, citations, or other issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and return all signed invoices and proof of delivery at the end of each shift.

Vehicle Care & Safety
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, cleanliness, and tire pressure.
• Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained; report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company safety procedures, and proper loading, unloading, and lifting practices.

Performance Expectations
• On-Time Delivery:
Complete 95%+ of routes within scheduled delivery windows.
• Documentation:
Return 100% of required invoices, proof of delivery, and delivery logs daily.
• Communication:
Immediately report delays, changes, incidents, or delivery issues.
• Vehicle Care:
Maintain clean, organized vehicles and promptly report maintenance needs.
• Professionalism:
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct on every route.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior delivery, driving, or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow route and dispatch instructions and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
