Drive​/Transportation Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and drive company passenger van in a safe and responsible manner.
• Transport Seniors assigned destinations within the designated routes and time frames.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., checking tire pressure, oil levels, fuel levels).
• Ensure all relevant paperwork, such as logs, delivery forms, and travel documents, is completed accurately and promptly.
• Ensure timely arrival and departure from scheduled destinations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, if applicable.
• Perform any additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Previous driving experience preferred.
• License:
  Valid NYC, Class C
  -DL License with a clean driving record.
• Skills:
  
  Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or maps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Three years of driving experience in NYC, no more than one moving violation in 24 months, no DUI convictions.
• Must be in very good health.

Depending on the planned trips, Monday through Friday 9 am – 3 pm

Thriving Bronx Based (CBO) Not For Profit Affordable Housing Developer has been in successful operation for over 50 years. SEBCO developed one of the first Section 8 Projects in the United States right here in the South Bronx. SEBCO's basic mission is to develop and maintain affordable housing in the Bronx and provide supportive services and security to our residents and the entire neighborhood.

SEBCO has two new ground up construction projects in the pipeline as well as several refinancing of current developments that are in progress currently. SEBCO also sponsors three (3) DHS homeless shelters and a DFTA lunch program for senior citizens as well as an NPP grant.
