Driver (Per Diem) Hawthorne Ridge | East Greenbush, NY
Schedule:
Mixed 8-Hour Shifts (Days, Evenings, Weekends as needed)
Position Summary The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of residents to appointments, activities, and other community destinations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents arrive safely while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities- Transport residents safely to and from appointments, activities, and community events.
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices to ensure safe transportation.
- Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Provide respectful and professional service to residents, families, and staff.
- Experience Preferred: 3 years of experience transporting elderly individuals or other vulnerable populations.
- Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Valid New York State Driver's License.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.

$17.60 - $23.55 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
