Job DescriptionThe Inventory Specialist at Fuze Health plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of inventory operations. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, this individual contributor supports daily inventory control functions, oversees material movement, and upholds the highest standards of accuracy and operational excellence within the respective Fuze Rx facility.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory & Accuracy:
Maintain accurate inventory records through transaction documentation, audits, and system reviews; conduct physical inventories and cycle counts to verify and improve inventory accuracy; analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. - Replenishment & Stock Control:
Develop and execute replenishment strategies to maintain appropriate stock levels of parts and goods; receive inventory and stock shelves in accordance with company policies and procedures; monitor and remove damaged, recalled, or expired inventory items. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure efficient material flow and inventory integrity; support materials and operational functions through documentation, verification, and process reviews. - Auditing & Compliance:
Audit incoming and outgoing shipments for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards; compile and maintain documentation for all inventory transactions, record-keeping, and data entry; ensure inventory activities align with internal quality standards and operational guidelines. - Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the optimization of inventory management processes and workflows; participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and process effectiveness.
- College degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in inventory control, materials management, warehouse operations, or related operational roles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Working knowledge of inventory management principles, cycle counting methodologies, and inventory control best practices.
- Experience supporting inventory operations in healthcare, pharmacy, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory tracking platforms.
- Experience conducting audits, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives.
- Strong understanding of compliance, quality standards, and inventory documentation requirements.
- Experience collaborating across supply chain, operations, purchasing, or production teams in high-volume environments.
Job Requirements
Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds. The role also requires effective verbal communication, discernment of auditory information, and visual perception to perform essential job functions.
