Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing and industrial organization, is seeking a Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Receiver - 1st Shift

Location: HIGHLAND, NY

Pay Range: $18-20/hr (Based on Experience)

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM

What's the Job?

• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery paperwork
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or incorrect items and report discrepancies to the appropriate department
• Accurately enter received items into the inventory system or receiving log
• Label and store materials in the correct warehouse locations according to company procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders, WAV, Cherry Picker, and Forklifts (when certified)

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
• Experience with inventory management and material handling responsibilities
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Reliable transportation to Highland, NY
