Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate | Red Hook, Brooklyn

Rachel Comey is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Red Hook, Brooklyn warehouse. Candidate must be a highly detail oriented self‑starter with excellent verbal communication skills. Candidate must thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment and effectively prioritize and manage a multitude of tasks on a given day.

• Pick and pack web orders
• Open web returns and reprocess for stock
• Physically receive deliveries from UPS, Fedex, DHL, USPS and help load outgoing shipments daily
• Receive and put to stock new inventory
• Pick and pack retail transfer orders
• Pick and pack wholesale orders
• Receive and organize warehouse supplies

• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Comfortable working on the computer or iPad and with basic technology (scanners, syncing bluetooth, printing, basic email)
• Punctual and reliable
• Team player
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb consistently

Job type:
Full time, on site

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Typical hours: 9AM-5PM

Blackout periods: last two weeks of February, March, May, June, July, August, October, November (must be flexible and willing to coordinate PTOs with Logistics Manager to ensure sufficient coverage)

Salary: $20/hour
