Merchandise Warehouse Associate - Yankee Stadium

Responsible for

Receiving, organizing, and distributing products and supplies to support stadium operations. The role includes inventory management, restocking, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. Must be able to lift and move materials efficiently and follow all safety procedures.

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust, and mop.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wear the proper safety equipment.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work in a team environment, move fast, and act on assigned duties.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be flexible to work all Yankee Stadium events, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10–30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, time-management, and mathematical skills.
• Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required.
• Regular use of hands to reach, touch, or feel items; ability to lift and move objects 10–50 lbs and occasionally more than 100 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, climbing, and balancing required.
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust and focus.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job-specific safety training.
• Encourage and ensure team follows safety policies and procedures, and report unsafe conditions.

$20.50 per hour.

Location:

On Site – Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY.

This position requires a combination of walking, standing, and reaching. Personnel may need to lift or move objects weighing 10–50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds. Requirements include frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, and occasional climbing or balancing.
