Our client, a growing distribution and fulfillment operation in Maspeth, Queens, is seeking dependable Warehouse Associates to support daily warehouse and shipping functions. Salary/Hourly Rate$17/hr - $19.50/hr
Position OverviewThe Warehouse Associates will support day‑to‑day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, order fulfillment, and product movement. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities Of The Warehouse Associates- Receive and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Review order information to ensure accuracy of products and quantities.
- Handle inventory movement and organize merchandise within the warehouse.
- Assist with vendor returns and product rework projects.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse organization.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 40 pounds.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment experience.
- Experience in apparel, retail distribution, or inventory environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse scanning systems and inventory processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
