We are currently seeking a General Warehouse Team Member to join our distribution network. General Warehouse Associates play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout NMG’s facility. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, moving materials within the warehouse, transporting items to and from the loading platform using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, and other material‑handling equipment.

Responsibilities include accurately sorting, staging, transporting, and preparing products for shipment, stocking and maintaining inventory, and fulfilling outgoing orders. The position is physically demanding and requires standing, lifting, carrying, and climbing ladders.

• Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
• Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries.
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
• Spend the majority of time standing, lifting and carrying products and climbing ladders to stock shelves.
• Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Some overtime work may be scheduled and required.
• Handle shipping and receiving responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co‑workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
• Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred.

The General Warehouse Associate must be able to talk and hear. The role requires regular sitting, standing, or walking for eight hours or more in a day. Frequent activities include using hands and fingers, grasping, handling, feeling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the individual must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
