Job Overview
Warehouse Worker: responsible for receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, performing inventory and quality control duties, and maintaining cleanliness and safety of the warehouse. The position will close when a qualified candidate is selected.
Responsibilities- Receive and inspect products, accurately label items and report discrepancies.
- Organize and store all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO inventory controls for perishable products.
- Operate manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts as required.
- Picks inventory to assemble orders, requisitions or par levels.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
- Load, unload, and transport products and materials between warehouse areas and client locations; may use carts, powered industrial vehicles, or motor vehicles.
- Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
- Complete administrative duties including inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and other business records.
- Clean work areas: restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and platform delivery areas as applicable.
- Implement location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures; use required safety equipment and PPE.
- Ensure security of client and company assets.
- Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and attend meetings as required.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- High school education or equivalent is preferred.
- 2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
- Able to lift up to 50 lb, frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 35 lb.
- Current valid driver's license may be required for certain client locations; MVR will be run as part of pre‑employment screening.
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing; uniform and PPE may be required.
Hourly rate: $18.70.
