The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe handling, storage, and internal movement of fine art and high-value goods within a fully temperature-controlled warehouse. This role supports the logistics and preservation of artwork, antiques, and luxury items while following strict internal standards and environmental protocol.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds or more.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and barcode scanning systems.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Good communication skills to effectively work within a team and report to supervisors.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Safely load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.
• Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily warehouse operations and resolve issues promptly.

The Warehouse Handler uses physical strength and stamina daily to handle and move materials safely and efficiently. Attention to detail is essential for verifying shipments, organizing inventory, and preparing orders accurately to prevent errors. Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks requires technical skill and adherence to safety standards to avoid accidents.
