This job is for the role of an experienced warehouse associate for the Clinical Trials Division of a global medical equipment supplier. The holder is responsible for shipping, receiving, creating orders, testing, and managing inventory levels, preparing equipment. Activities may include, but are not limited to, loading, or unloading, moving, staging, replenishing, and cleaning the warehouse.
The PersonWe are seeking an energetic, motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate with at least 4 years of hands‑on warehouse experience and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. The Ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and brings a positive, can‑do attitude to the team. Salesforce Software preferred. This Job is 60% Physical and 40% computer based.
The role is responsible for counting and inspecting product, notifying the Warehouse Supervisor when there are damages or discrepancies, operating all equipment safely and efficiently and performing all duties as assigned. The Warehouse Supervisor and Associate both report to the General Manager. Must live in close range of Brooklyn Navy Yard (Brooklyn or Manhattan)
This position is an (on‑site) located in Brooklyn, New York is a Permanent Position, with all hours between Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. This job will pay a salaried pay rate of $40,000 per year. Health Care and other benefits are provided for this position. This role also offers potential bonus and room for growth within the company.
Requirements- The ability to quickly identify and resolve inventory or shipping discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors via outlook, Microsoft teams and in person.
- Excellent Communication and the ability to be efficient in completing tasks within deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Minimum 4 Years of work experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience managing communication in Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to take initiative and support others
- Proficient in handling incoming and outgoing shipments, including labelling and documentation. Must also be a "self-starter" and can‑do attitude.
