Warehouse Worker

Linen production & distribution company based in Staten Island NY, with production facilities in Egypt, is seeking a reliable and capable warehouse worker. Must be able to adapt to changing demands and needs while maintaining composure to changing needs.

Our product lines include:
Bedding (sheets, pillowcases, pillows, mattress pad, encasements, pillow tops, etc.), terry (all towel products), rugs, shower curtains, robes, slippers.

• Read invoice/shipping list
• Work independently
• Performs other job duties as assigned
• Ability to lift and bend - minimum 50lbs

• Ability to work well independently
• Must have at least 2 years' related experience
• Operate a forklift and function alongside the operation via manual labor
• Must have knowledge of warehouse and inventory processes
• Must have knowledge of safety programs
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as bill of lading and invoices
• May be required to work longer days
• Spanish language ability helpful
• Reliable/commitment to job
