JOB PURPOSEThe Logistics and Distribution Coordinator will directly support our Logistics department by overseeing the distribution of products throughout North America and coordinating shipments between our global subsidiaries. The coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations for our retail boutiques, wholesale partners, and outlet locations. As a key member of the Logistics Team, the Logistics and Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for gathering and delivering essential information that enables the timely movement of goods.
Their efforts will help maintain efficiency and strengthen our supply chain relationships across various channels.
- Oversee daily receiving, picking, and inventory maintenance in the outlet warehouses, following established procedures.
- Daily monitor SIT Stock in Transit and Stock on Hand SOT
- Coordinate stock End of Season returns domestically & Canada / Central America.
- Organize work crews to ensure all merchandise Return to Vendor, orders are received, picked and shipped on time, following established procedures. (Retail Warehouse and BG Consignments).
- Support Retail & Outlet Warehouse organization in inventory management, following established procedures.
- Instruct the stores and offices in the most appropriate utilization of express carriers, striking the most efficient balance between cost and service.
- Generate monthly KPI reports for Retail & Outlet Warehouse in term of Warehouse productivity and cost per piece.
- Generate monthly KPI reports for UPS in terms of shipping services and cost per piece for Retail/Outlet/Ecommerce.
- Manage License review process for Fish &Wildlife, Vicuna & Food & Drug Administration for both Prada Spa and Prada USA. Manage relationship with Legal / External Counsel for issues related to Fish &Wildlife problems.
- Proactively supervise and follow-up on shipment status solving shipping issues. Issues can relate to Fish and Wildlife / CITES and other PGA requirements.
- Manage the data collection for drawback program for US/Canada and partner with our established brokerage for the submission of the DDB.
- Monitor & Manage KPI related to the Wholesale Returns Warehouse activity (paperwork in SAP, receiving & quality performance).
- Generate Freight Forwarder monthly KPI report, monitor turnaround time as per Prada standard & communication with Head Quarter.
- Manage recording of Return to Vendor’s and Return Authorization’s and communicate with Finance when needed
- Export EOS, Presale and BQRA’s to HQ.
- Assist with claim filings.
- Monitor CITES Export clearance performance, create dedicated KPI report
- Oversee-Manage all warehouse Wholesale operations to maximize Productivity and level of service throughout the different phases (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns).
- Traveling 3PL warehouse is required.
- Identify and develop best practices for process improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years’ of relevant work experience within international logistics/customs brokerage.
- Hardworking and curious about logistics
- Basic knowledge of international trade, import duties and incoterms
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft excel capable of manipulating large sets of data.
- Prior experience with SAP is desirable
- Highly organized, diligent, and with excellent time management skills.
- Prior 3PL warehouse experience
- Must be proactive, solution-seeking, adaptable and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
This position offers an annualized salary of $63, 000 to $70,000, and, if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The pay rate offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
