Forklift Operator

Triple Cities Metal Finishing is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and productivity through a hands‑on approach. Specifically, the role is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of materials and other receivables.

Since 1945, TCMF has made innovative, as well as necessary changes in the way we conduct everyday business. From advanced surface preparation to highly technical finishing processes, we can handle the smallest pieces to large parts over 30 feet long.

Our three shifts of skilled professionals in our 125,000 square foot facility have made us the vendor of choice for metal finishing for Northeastern United States. Whether it is electroplating, electroless plating, wet paint, or powder coat, we finish it right the first time!

• Operate 26' box truck for local and regional deliveries/pickups
• Operate forklift to safely load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
• Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
• Complete delivery paperwork as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Comply with company policies and guidelines.
• Update inventory, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

  Valid driver license (CDL not required)
• Testing
  :
  Pre-employment DOT physical
• Experience:
  • Previous experience as a box truck driver
  • Current forklift license preferred, ability to drive a forklift required
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Previous experience in warehouse, or other related field strongly preferred

• Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

• Wage
  • $17.50-$20.50/hour
  • Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
