Skills Required Primary (Must-Have)- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. - Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. - Experience using barcode inventory management systems and barcode scanning equipment.
- Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience creating operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and cycle count processes.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with transportation and supply chain operations.
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations by managing inventory transactions, coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and generating operational reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and experience working with barcode inventory management systems.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining accurate logistics records while supporting efficient warehouse operations.
Inventory Management- Manage inventory movements using barcode inventory management systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory reconciliation activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counts and transaction audits.
- Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and stock movements.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate shipment activities with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams.
- Maintain shipment documentation, receipts, and transfer records.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of shipping and receiving activities.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, analyze inventory trends, and support operational decision-making.
- Generate logistics reports, KPIs, and operational dashboards.
- Maintain accurate logistics data and documentation.
- Support inventory analysis and warehouse performance reporting.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product flow.
- Assist in resolving operational issues affecting inventory and shipments.
- Support daily logistics operations and continuous process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and quality standards.
- Support warehouse efficiency initiatives and operational improvements.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with barcode inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
