Warehouse Manager, Occupational Health & Safety
• 5 years of direct manufacturing supervisory experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with high-volume, automated processing equipment.

Responsibilities• Serve as acting Operations Supervisor in their absence.
• Ensure a safe work environment and that personnel work safely.
• Supervise and assist employees, including assigning and directing work, investigating incidents & issues, and effectively resolving conflicts.
• Train employees and ensure compliance with job and safety requirements.
• Use root cause analysis tools to identify preventative and corrective actions to eliminate problems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining departmental work instructions and SOPs.
• Recommend measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and enhance work crew and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities between departments and serve internal customers.
• Maintain standards of health, safety, food safety, and security, including GMP, HACCP, SQF, per company policies and regulations.
• Interact effectively with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Material Handling, and Finance departments to meet functional responsibilities.
• Communicate and work with employees to resolve issues and problems.
• Support all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, work rules, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
