Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly

TCAH is looking for a responsible and energetic Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. This role includes receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing, and organizing, managing, and retrieving inventory within the warehouse.

• Develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Help with distribution of food to customers
• Resolving customer issues as appropriate
• Loading & unloading of vehicle
• Assist loading and unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials or items in storage, truck and or warehouse
• Opening and disposal of boxes, bales, crates and other containers
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock and recording on inventory sheet, dry, fresh and refrigerated. Assist in counting physical inventory.
• Prepare orders for Fresh Vibes Market, Super Pantry, Mobile Pantry, Special Events, and WHSP
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping storage, store and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wear the proper safety equipment
• May need to work in other areas of the organization as deemed necessary by supervisor.
• Other Jobs as outline by the Manager, COO and/or CEO.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2-3 yrs previous driving/warehouse experience preferred
• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
• Dependable and Reliable
• Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
• Experience handling pallet jack
• Physical demands and abilities
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
