Trillium Staffing is now seeking Warehouse Workers in Bronx, NY!

Pay rate is $20.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift premium. Schedule is3rd Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, starting Sunday night. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity!

A well-established heavy metal parts warehouse and distribution operation in the Bronx is seeking a reliable, team-oriented Warehouse Operator to join their overnight team.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent position. This is a hands-on, team-oriented environment where employees are valued, safety is taken seriously, and everyone is expected to contribute to keeping the operation running smoothly.

You’ll work as part of a small, close-knit overnight team, so reliability, a strong work ethic, respect for coworkers, and a willingness to pitch in are essential.

Training:

Training is thorough and hands-on, with a strong emphasis on learning the job correctly and safely.

• -Receive hands-on training on equipment, processes, and daily responsibilities
• - earn the facility’s operations and workflow
• - Become familiar with equipment and safety expectations
• - Have an opportunity to tour the facility and understand the different functions of the operation
• - Receive guidance and support before being expected to work independently

• - Employees are expected to consistently:
• -Complete required daily safety checks/cards for industrial equipment
• - Follow all facility safety rules and operating procedures
• - Properly use required PPE
• - Operate equipment safely and responsibly
• - Maintain a clean and organized work area
• - Immediately report or address unsafe conditions

• - Loading and unloading trucks
• - Loading and unloading processing and consolidation machines
• - Operating a Hi-Lo or forklift based on the needs of the operation
• - Moving heavy materials throughout the facility
• - Pulling skids from processing equipment
• - Banding and preparing skids for shipment
• - Moving and staging materials
• - Assisting coworkers with other warehouse activities as needed
• - Performing general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
• - Following established safety procedures and operating guidelines

This is not a forklift/Hi-Lo-ONLY position. You will not spend the entire shift operating equipment. Equipment operation is an important part of the job, but the role also involves a variety of warehouse duties, material handling, housekeeping, and general facility support.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to assist where needed.

• - Minimum 6 months of Hi-Lo or forklift operating experience
• - Ability to safely operate industrial equipment and follow all safety procedures
• - Ability to consistently lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• - Ability to work in a hands-on warehouse environment
• - Steel-toe safety boots required

• - Previous warehouse experience
• - Experience handling heavy materials
• - Experience working with metal products or metal parts
• - Previous experience in a metals processing, distribution, or industrial warehouse environment is a plus
