Location: New York

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure efficient inventory and material flow, and lead a high-performing team. This role will focus on operational excellence, safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, and timely fulfillment while supporting broader business objectives.

Warehouse Operations
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
  • Establish and maintain efficient warehouse processes and workflows.
  • Monitor productivity, accuracy, throughput, and service levels.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper inventory controls.
  • Monitor stock levels, cycle counts, discrepancies, and material movement.
  • Develop processes to minimize inventory loss, damage, and inaccuracies.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and other departments to support material availability.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse personnel and supervisors.
  • Establish performance expectations and monitor individual and team results.
  • Support employee training, onboarding, and development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Ensure employees follow established safety procedures and operational policies.
  • Conduct or support safety training and inspections.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement
  • Analyze warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Implement best practices for material handling, space utilization, and workflow optimization.
  • Utilize operational data and performance metrics to support decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall supply chain performance.
Planning & Coordination
  • Coordinate warehouse activities with production, transportation, purchasing, customer service, and other departments.
  • Plan staffing and resources based on operational requirements.
  • Support shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely customer and production requirements are met.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning as needed.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Several years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes, and material handling.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance requirements.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • OSHA or other relevant safety training.
