Logistics Assistant - Luxury Brand; Long

Our client, a Luxury Brand, is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team in Long Island City.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

• Purchase Order (PO) receiving
• Support the team through the new system adaptation, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruption to operations
• Ensure inventory accuracy between physical product and system records
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including documentation and tracking
• Partner with warehouse and mailroom teams to maintain workflow efficiency
• Assist with discrepancy resolution
• Maintain organized records of inventory movements and shipments
• Communicate with internal teams (stores, corporate) regarding shipment statuses
• Support pick/pack operations and allocation by location/store
• Transfer Order (TO) processing (pick/pack/ship/receive)
• Efficiently and accurately pulls the merchandise specified in each sales order
• Verifies that order details are correct and properly completed and included in the shipment.
• Conducts quality control checks on the merchandise
• Ensures that merchandise is placed in the correct brand box or pouch and packaged to meet end consumer quality standards.
• Follows best practices when assembling the shipping carton and ensures that all packaging requirements are met to guarantee safety and prevent loss during shipping.
• Works effectively with cross-functional departments

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 strongly preferred)
• Experience supporting system migrations or operational transitions preferred
• Strong understanding of warehouse workflows and inventory management
