Overview Description Warehouse Order Selector Join our team and immediately become part of supporting local community grocery stores feed their local families. About Krasdale Foods, Inc.:Krasdale Foods, Inc., is a wholesale grocery distributor delivering both national brands and private label products to independently owned supermarkets and food stores since 1908. We support the businesses in the neighborhoods where you and your family live. We currently have the following position available at our distribution center in the Bronx, NY located at 400 Food Center Drive. This location is easily accessible via the #6 bus.
FULLTIME ORDER SELECTORS WANTED Starting rate $17.50 per hour. Increase to $19.00 an hour after 2 consecutive weeks of 100% productivity. This is a Union position. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY AND TRAINING IS PROVIDED!
WORK HOURS:
SUNDAY, 12 PM – 8:15 PM; MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 12:30 PM – 8:45 PM
OVERTIME IS AVAILABLE
COMPANY PAID MEDICAL BENEFITS ARE ALSO AVAILABLEJOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds continually during shift
- Able to read alpha and numeric codes from pick sheets and slots
- Able to consistently meet minimum production standards
- Able to operate electronic pallet jacks to stack cases on pallets and shrink wrap completed order
- Able to select orders accurately and quickly
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime when necessary
