Salary Range: $24.00 To $28.00 Hourly

OVERVIEW:

Operation and Leadership of shift operations, in Shipping, In-plant Distribution and Inventory Control. Meeting all safety, quality and productivity requirements.

TITLE:

Receiving Group leader

PAY PLAN:

Hourly

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Operation and leadership in The Receiving area of Distribution

WORK PERFORMED:

Demonstrate working knowledge and departmental safety procedures and guidelines
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (ISO Documentation).
Safely load and unload tractor trailers, fill out trailer inspection sheets.
Working Knowledge of JDE/DSI inventory systems.
Complete understanding of warehousing process and procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Work overtime as required
Communicate effectively with different departments throughout plant.
Working knowledge of lift truck design and operational capabilities.
Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
Schedule delivery appointments with freight lines
Assist in training new employees within the department

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

2-5 years as a Forklift Operator or Warehouse Person with demonstrated knowledge of department operations and procedures.
Operational knowledge of JDE and DSI.
Basic computer skills
Basic knowledge of the Macedon manufacturing process.
Understanding of team concepts and ability to lead by example.
Demonstrate ability to work with minimum supervision
Good record of safety, productivity, attendance, and teamwork
Capable of, and commit to follow the plant and departmental safety procedures, food safety guidelines, and ISO procedure
Good communication and organizational skills
Good mathematical skills.
Continuous learning will be expected
Able to work overtime as required
