Location: Sleaford
Salary: £38,000-£40,000 + Company Van
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm
Bennett & Game are currently working with an established company within the powered access and plant hire industry
, who are looking for an experienced Powered Access Fitter to join their team in Sleaford.
This is a hands‑on position working on a range of powered access equipment, with a mixture of workshop‑based repairs, servicing and PDI checks, alongside field‑based breakdown and maintenance work
.
- Service, maintain and repair powered access equipment
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carry out PDI inspections and machine checks
- Attend customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance
- Ensure equipment is safe, reliable and ready for hire
- Work independently and manage repairs through to completion
- Support the wider plant and workshop operation when required
- Previous experience working on powered access equipment
- Strong mechanical fault‑finding and repair skills
- Confident diagnosing and repairing machinery
- Experience with plant, agricultural or similar equipment will also be considered
- Reliable, hardworking and conscientious approach
- Comfortable working both in a workshop and out on customer sites
IPAF/PAL or CAP qualifications are not essential
. The key requirement is genuine hands‑on experience and the ability to confidently diagnose, repair and maintain machinery.
