Position OverviewThe Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the Accounts Receivable function through collections, billing, invoicing, customer account management, and month‑end activities. This role partners closely with internal project teams and external customers to ensure timely collections and accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage collections for a high‑volume portfolio of subcontractor and customer invoices
- Prepare monthly statements, collection forecasts, and aging analyses
- Monitor and help reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Process progress billings, customer invoicing, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate insurance certificates, lien‑related documentation, and project compliance requirements
- Process credit card transactions and vendor releases as needed
- Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve billing and collection issues
- Support month‑end reconciliations and account balancing
- Maintain project documentation and archive completed projects
- Navigate multiple ERP systems, customer portals, and reporting platforms
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and customer account management
- Ten‑key proficiency
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Professional communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
