Job Description

Sanmina Corporation is a global manufacturing & services company that supports diversified customers with innovative products and manufacturing services. More details can be found at

Sanmina Newark, we don’t just build; we power the global chip race. Our facility is a powerhouse of large-format machining and complex integration. We are looking for a high-octane Program Manager to own the relationship and execution for our most high-profile semiconductor OEM accounts.

In this role, you aren’t just "checking boxes"—you are the bridge between multi-million dollar engineering designs and the physical tools that make AI, EV, and 5G tech possible.

Responsibilities
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary site liaison and high-level interface with the customer, driving customer service and satisfaction initiatives
  • Program Compliance & Agreements:
Responsible for all program aspects, managing customer agreements, and ensuring program-related decisions are guided by contract terms and conditions and are in the best interests of Sanmina.
  • Financial & Business Resolution:
Drive revenue achievement and resolve business issues, including A/R, E&O mitigation and reduction, uPPV, Credit, and RMA’s.
  • Performance Monitoring & KPIs:
Monitor and ensure performance against key internal business metrics (revenue growth, margin performance, cost management/PPV, inventory turns, AR management, etc.) and customer satisfaction metrics (Operational, Quality, Material management, price performance, on-time delivery, quality, etc.), implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Demand & Order Planning:
Manage demand and order planning by obtaining timely customer data, analyzing forecasts and ordering trends to identify gaps, utilizing the backlog, and coordinating customer priorities with factory priorities to resolve any conflicts.
  • Program Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of customer-facing programs throughout the entire product lifecycle, including managing product EOL processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, quality, and operations).
  • Process Improvement & Practices:
Develop and deploy best-in-class program management practices, proactively managing program resources, timelines, and risks, and identifying opportunities for process optimization
  • Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship for junior program managers and program administrators.
Professional Experience and Qualities
  • Industry Grit: 8+ years of Program Management experience, ideally within Contract Manufacturing (Machining/Integration) or the Semiconductor space.
  • Technical & Academic Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field. If you have a PMP or Lean Six Sigma belt, even better.
  • Matrix Leadership:
The ability to influence stakeholders, pivot priorities on a dime, and drive alignment in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Data Fluency:
High-level computer skills (MS Excel wizardry is a must) to track KPIs, margin performance, and delivery metrics.
Why Sanmina?

You’ll be at the heart of a global expansion, managing the tools that create the world’s most critical industrial infrastructure. If you thrive where precision machining meets high-level business strategy, let’s talk.

This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity

Salary Range (annual): $125,000 - $175,000.
