STEMRobotics Birthday Party Facilitator

Position Overview

The primary focus of a Birthday Party Facilitator will be to lead fun and engaging Snapology birthday parties. Party facilitators promote creativity and teamwork while passively educating students through engaging activities similar to those conducted in the classroom. Parties are conducted for children ages 2‑14, though facilitators may not be required to work with all age groups. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership, and represents the organization to parents and children with a high degree of professionalism.

• Lead groups of up to 24 students through curriculum‑guided birthday party activities.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Manage student behavior by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with Snapology’s rules and disciplinary systems.
• Encourage and monitor individual student progress and adjust activities accordingly.
• Adequately prepare for each party by reviewing teaching guides.
• Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs.
• Encourage students and parents to enroll in future Snapology programs.
• Participate in periodic Snapology training and staff meetings, as required.

• Criminal and child clearances must be current.
• Some experience working with children.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Proven punctuality and reliability.

• Competitive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.

This position is part‑time and occurs on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Depending on candidate availability and the time of year, Birthday Party Facilitators typically work between 5–20 hours per week.
