The High School English Teacher at Newark Memorial High School will provide standards-aligned instruction in English Language Arts and English Language Development, including ELD Beginning, ELD Advanced, and ELD Transition classes. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging lessons, differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs, assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, supporting English Learners, collaborating with staff and families, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
This is a 0.8 FTE position, with a work schedule of 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
