We are looking for a seasoned CAE Engineer to join our Research & Development team in Newark, CA, to perform advanced engineering analyses and optimize our automotive or aerospace product designs and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with various engineering teams to ensure all products meet the highest standards of performance, durability, and safety. This role is onsite, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and analyze FEA models to assess and improve structural integrity and performance of components.
- Optimize key engine components such as cylinder head ports, combustion chambers, and cooling circuits.
- Work in collaboration with design engineers to refine product designs and execute engineering changes.
- Prepare and present detailed analytical reports to project teams and senior management.
- Utilize CAE tools effectively to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce the time frame for development.
- Proficiency in CAE software like Abaqus or Hypermesh.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively.
Prior experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is required for this role.
