Job SummaryAs a Vehicle Safety Test Engineer based in Newark, CA, you will undertake critical responsibilities in setting up and conducting safety tests for vehicles. This role involves hands‑on work with high voltage systems, crash testing, and vehicle rebuilding, embodying a unique opportunity to contribute cross‑functionally and own the processes you manage. This position is mainly onsite, offers competitive compensation, and requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and manage test equipment for vehicle safety assessments.
- Setup extensive safety tests for vehicles ensuring compliance with standards.
- Support test engineers in various safety testing operations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance test procedures and outcomes.
- Manage documentation and reporting of test processes and results.
- Deep expertise in high voltage systems.
- Profound knowledge and experience with vehicle crash testing and safety.
- Skilled in vehicle rebuilding and modifications.
Experience in Automotive Engineering or Vehicle Safety Testing
