Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the design, quoting, and sales of customized technical systems. This role combines engineering knowledge with client‑facing responsibilities, including developing solutions, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales process. The position is full‑time and located onsite.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and qualify new business opportunities and respond to customer inquiries.
- Perform process simulations, equipment sizing, and cost estimates.
- Prepare proposals and technical documentation, including P&IDs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize system design and reduce costs.
- Present solutions to customers, gather feedback, and adjust proposals as needed.
- Support the sales cycle from lead generation through project handoff.
- Ensure that all customer interactions align with the company's standards and policies.
- Maintain an updated database of customer interactions and proposals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, sales engineering, or a related role.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with process design, costing, or industrial systems preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software.
- Salary range: $91,500 – $113,000
