Our client, a leader in automotive technology and innovation, is seeking a Sr. Electrical System Design Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Electrical System Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting vehicle hardware development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Electrical System Design Engineer
What's the Job?- Lead the design of low voltage electrical hardware ECUs for vehicle architecture and power distribution units.
- Manage the entire hardware development lifecycle from schematic capture to production deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure hardware performance in both bench and vehicle environments.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve hardware issues during development and production phases.
- Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation activities to ensure quality and reliability.
- Proven experience in automotive low voltage electronics design and bringing hardware into production.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and hardware development processes.
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in automotive electronics design.
- Proficiency with schematic capture tools, PCB layout, and signal integrity simulation tools.
- Experience using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers for high‑speed signal analysis and debugging.
