IT Support Specialist

Pay Rate: $26 - $30 (Based on Experience)

Knighted is looking for an IT Support Specialist I (ITSS1) to support the IT department and greater Knighted team by solving a wide range of tech‑related problems and assisting in creating a streamlined IT infrastructure. You will be empowered to leverage Fresh Service IT Service Management platform and dashboards to manage your ticket queue, working in a team environment to enhance your knowledge and that of your teammates.

Successful candidates enjoy customer service support, possess knowledge across a wide range of technical topics, and thrive on finding solutions to technical issues in a fast‑paced environment. Must be self‑motivated, possess a sense of urgency and demonstrate critical thinking skills; capable of working in a heavily collaborative environment. Training will be provided to ensure skills and quality of work meet Knighted standards.

• Provide timely first‑level contact and problem resolution for hardware, software, networking, and mobile support. Escalate issues as appropriate.
• Perform general IT support activities, hardware deployment/repair, and software installations.
• Perform preventative maintenance of IT equipment.
• Travel to business operations locations for support and maintenance, and assist remotely.
• Support account management of technical systems.
• Assist with recommendations of technical solutions that meet design and functional needs.
• Assist with updating/authoring IT documentation.
• Perform asset management, including inventory, audit and tracking, administration and reporting, and automate the asset management process as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older to be able to assist our teams onsite.
• Familiarity with SaaS environments is a plus.

• Detail oriented person that acts with a sense of urgency.
• Demonstrates an upbeat and positive attitude toward job responsibilities and accomplishment of critical business objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively using several modes of communication, such as face‑to‑face, email, phone, instant messaging, etc.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace Apps.
• Knowledge and ability to support iPadOS, macOS, ChromeOS, Windows OS, Android.
• Ability to quickly understand and operate a wide variety of system and cloud‑based applications.
