What You'll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or another export-controlled industry.
Relevant certifications (CCNP, NSE, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, or similar) — nice to have, not a substitute for demonstrated project delivery experience.
Experience working alongside (not managing) a separate service-desk/support function, with a track record of clean handoffs.
Strong written documentation skills — this role must be able to hand off cleanly to a support team that wasn't in the room for the build.
Comfortable working in a regulated/compliance-driven environment; familiarity with frameworks like FIPS 140, NIST 800-171, CMMC, or ITAR-adjacent data handling is a plus.
