At Teledyne ETM, located in Newark, CA, we design and build cutting-edge high-voltage and high-power electronic subsystems that support communications, radar/EW, test and measurement, medical, and security markets worldwide. We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end procurement operations. In this role, you’ll drive sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure a reliable, cost-effective supply chain that supports our business objectives and growth.

You bring strong commercial judgment, negotiation expertise, and the ability to influence across functions while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and growth plans
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture
• Provide subject matter expertise on global sourcing strategies and supply chain resilience

• Oversee all direct and indirect procurement activities, including materials, services, and capital expenditures
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and managing performance
• Drive supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, service, and innovation metrics
• Ensure security of supply through proactive risk management and sourcing strategies

• Analyze procurement spend and develop sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings targets
• Establish and track procurement KPIs, providing reporting and insights to support decision-making
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes, systems, and best practices

• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to support integrated business planning
• Collaborate with Planning to optimize inventory levels and minimize operational disruptions
• Serve as the key liaison between procurement and internal stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
• Oversee adherence to FAR/DFAR regulations and required reporting (e.g., ISR submissions)
• Support infrastructure and supply chain improvement initiatives across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Significant experience in procurement leadership, preferably in manufacturing or technology environments
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management experience
• Proven ability to develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategies
• Experience driving cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
