Role:
Associate Director/Director, Program Management Responsibilities
- develop and manage complex project plans, timelines, budgets
- facilitate cross-functional collaboration among preclinical, clinical, CMC, and regulatory teams
- oversee risk management, contingency planning, and milestone tracking
- lead team meetings and communicate with senior management on strategic issues and project updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business
- 10+ years of program management experience in biopharma, preferably within fast-paced, development-stage companies
- strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills
- proficiency in project tools like Microsoft Project and Smartsheet
- experience with global drug development
- ability to lead through influence and handle conflict resolution.
- PMPP certification
- experience across multiple therapeutic areas
- hands-on leadership style.
- overseeing Phase 1-3 clinical trials, with accountability for timeline and budget management
- on-site work in Newark, CA, with approximately 5% travel.
The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder communication within biopharma R&D pipelines.
